   This is a very cool makeup mirror for women to have. There are 3 temperatures of light it can be set at to emulate the lighting she will be seen in. Warm, natural, cool (or bright white) all three of which the brightness levels can be adjusted. It comes with a 10x magnifier so she can see real close when putting on eyeliner or false eyelashes. Because the magnifier is so concaved the picture that shows the 10x magnifier is not true to the focus at the distance it reflects.Though it comes with a USB power cable this unit is not battery operated and for good reasons. A battery would not be able to provide consistent lighting which is needed when applying makeup so it will look evenly balanced in the different temperatures of light she will be seen in. A USB power adapter will be required. The base is made of sturdy metal and is rather heavy so it won’t tip over easily. A good powder coating is used giving the mirror a long lasting durable paint job. The mirror tilts to accommodate the height she may be sitting at. The listing says 12″ and the pictures of the mirror shown are misleading because the mirror isn’t square. The actual dimensions of the mirror are 10″ H & 9″ W. The controls for the temperature and brightness are all done by the touch of her finger. I gave this to my 16 year old niece and she was ecstatic with joy & excitement.

   I love these for travel and they are not battery, which in some cases I like. I can keep these in storage without worrying about battery issues.

   My wife wanted this for her dresser. I’m impressed with how stylish it looks and that the power switch is just built into the mirror as a sensor. Very slick and nice looking. Light isn’t too bright either.

   When I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised with this mirror. The packaging is plain in a cardboard box but well packaged with foam surrounding the entire mirror. On pulling the mirror out, I have to say that it’s extremely well made and the aesthetics are on point! The mirror is clear and bright with no occlusions. It looks exactly like the HD photos shown on the product page. LEDs light it up beautifully and it’s a pleasure to use.After ordering this, I did have a moment of buyers remorse before I received it, because I thought it Wouldn’t swivel the way a mirror with side hinges would – but this moves smoothly and perfectly as needed.It is also dimmable (down to 10%) and features 3 lighting options (cool, “natural”, and warm) that make it easy to view how you’re putting on your makeup and allows me to make adjustments as necessary for a bright afternoon or low indoor lighting activities.I also love the subtle little heart button which is integrated into the mirror itself. Even though I’d wanted a larger mirror originally, I have to say that this size is practical and makes it easy to use. It’s not too heavy to move around if necessary.Highly recommend this vanity mirror!
