This magnifying mirror has a suction base that can be locked onto a smooth surface like a linoleum countertop or a varnished bureau. Its suction is activated by holding the mirror down against a smooth surface and spinning its base counterclockwise. Twisting its base in the opposite direction releases it. After inserting three AAA batteries, I was able to turn the mirror rim’s lights using the mechanical push button switch on the top of the mirror’s light ring. A second capacitive switch is located on the mirror glass, just below the on/off switch, that controls the light’s color. It can be changed from natural lighting to warm evening light in three color steps.The mirror’s claimed 10X magnification appears to be accurate based on the amount of distortion I get when holding the mirror beyond its narrow focal range. My wife finds its magnification perfect for plucking eyebrows and I, for shaving, find the same. This mirror’s magnification is what we were looking for but what I didn’t think about also needing was a standard mirror for hair combing. We have to switch to another mirror for that use.

The mirrors are decent overall but the light, even at its brightest could be better.Turning on and off and changing modes is very easy but adjusting brightness can be finicky. It doesn’t always register and I had to grip the mirror multiple times to hold it in place to adjust it.Additionally the side screws used for rotation tention could be better. At their tightest it still deemed a little loose and I suspect that over time they will let the mirror droop a bit.Overall though this is a decent mirror and worth trying.

I recently purchased the 10x magnifying mirror with light from Amazon, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This mirror has become an essential part of my daily routine.The LED light is not super bright but do it’s job. The light is evenly distributed, providing decent illumination without any harsh shadows.The build quality of this mirror is impressive. It feels sturdy and well-made. The suction cup mount is strong and keeps the mirror securely in place on my vanity.Overall, this 10x magnifying mirror with light has exceeded my expectations.

Good product. Works well. You just need to be really close up to see though. It works well enough to let you see those little invisible hairs you feel but cannot see otherwise.

I’ve been traveling on long weekends with a group of girlfriends & depending on the venue where we are staying sometimes fighting for mirror time is intense. So, I ordered this mirror to set on anything to put on makeup, etc. The light is substantial & does not bother anyone if you get up early while others are sleeping. I put it in my carryon, wrapped in pjs, & it hasn’t broken yet. BTW…I have a rule about this mirror….i do not loan it out to any of my girlfriends. Nope, I tell them where I got it & tell them to buy & tote their own. I tell them high school is over & I’m not loaning out my stuff to make their life easier, any longer. We really have a fun time & laugh the entire time, but I’m tired of being the only Girl Scout in the group! Get this mirror as a backup & save your friendships!
