I needed a way to apply a DMSO mixture to my knees. These really fit the bill. They apply a really thin layer of our DMSO mixture without the mess of cotton balls and such. The lids are next to worthless It looks like the lid would screw on but no. The lid just sits there.I still give them 5 stars because they work great, are made of glass, and the silicone ball will not dissolve while applying the DSMO. In case you do not know, DMSO will dissolve most plastics, so a plastic ball is a non-starter

Do a good job for cheap price. I put the ordinary glycolic acid to put on my armpits. The only thing is a bit hard to open and had to press it to close it. It would have been perfect if it has a rolling opening on the neck of the bottle.
