   I’ve always been super frustrated by hotel lighting when trying to ready myself, this is a great solution! Why didn’t I think of this years ago… really great resolution to a frustrating problem. Battery works well and holds a charge. Magnification is great. Good product.

   As a devoted GiGi (aka Generous Granny), I never miss a chance to grab a great gift for my ever growing list of family and friends. So when this Beautifive 3-in-1 lighted mirror popped up through Amazon Vine, I pounced! I’ve previously purchased and gifted similar mirrors to a couple of my nieces, daughters, sisters, granddaughters, and even a few men in the family admiring those mirrors, the demand is endless. And at almost 70, on a fixed income, I couldn’t buy a mirror for every birthday and Christmas. ( Though if I could, I would – because this mirror that good.)This particular Beautifive mirror was destined for my sister, who has spent years squinting at her bathroom mirror, standing so far away, she felt like she was doing her makeup from another zip code. The final push? Her spouse (ever so helpful) dropped not-so-subtle hints that her makeup skills were veering into drag queen territory. Plus, like me, she struggles to do her eye makeup with her glasses on.This mirror is a game-changer. The 8.5-inch wide-angle, high-definition view lets lets her see every detail – no more mismatched foundation between her jawline and neck, no more unfortunate lipstick disasters that scream Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? It’s also versatile – can be used as handheld, hanging, or desktop mirror. The 1X side is great for an overall look, while the 10X magnifying side is a little terrifying at our age but ensures you never miss an odd stray hair again!It also has three lighting modes, dimmable brightness, and even a smart memory function – remembers your last setting – because let’s face it, at our age we need all the memory assistance we can get. And in case you forget to turn it off (which, let’s be real, is likely), it automatically shuts off after 15 minutes.It’s versatile, has long battery life, very stable, handheld, hanging, or desktop – and portable, folding up easy for travel. My sister has used it daily for over two months, and it still works perfectly. And now, of course, everyone wants one. (Sorry folks, but Amazon Vine only offers you one.) But I’ll happily buy a couple more as Christmas gifts because for the quality, functionality, and versatility, the price is more than reasonable.If you or someone you love is tired of guessing their way through their morning routine, do them a favor and grab this mirror. It’s a must-have, highly recommend – just be prepared for mirror envy to spread!

   This is a terrific vanity/make up mirror which can serve more purposes than what’s listed on the packaging. The primary purpose for getting this mirror is to help me pluck rogue eyelashes that tend to grow in a downward curl and rub against my eyes. If you ever had that happen then you know how irritating and an annoyance that can be. Trying to eliminate those lashes while standing in front of a bathroom mirror with a set of tweezers is just impossible and you’ll end up poking yourself a few times in the eye! Being double sided the 10x side is perfect for an up close view for isolating those rogue lashes and eliminating them one at a time. The secondary purpose is to assist face shaving duties so again, no need/reason to stand in front of a bathroom mirror when doing this as well.The illuminated bezel around the mirror is nice and isn’t harsh on the eyes regardless of what light level you prefer to use. The auto-off feature is an excellent touch and deactivates the lights after about a 10 minute period. The mirror came pre-charged and the battery range seems to have a good lifespan. On an average use of about 20 – 30 minutes per week I haven’t had to charge the battery thus far and as of the date this review was written, I’ve had this mirror for close to three weeks now. With my limited use I would estimate I’d probably have to charge the mirror at a rate of every 4 – 6 weeks which isn’t bad at all for the limited use it gets. For others who would use this mirror on a more extended daily basis, the charging times will be more repetitive. It’s very portable, easy to move around, and detachable from the base so it can be used like a hand mirror of sorts if that’s your preference.This would be a great addition to anyone’s beauty/grooming routine. The only minor fault I can really find is that mirror itself doesn’t flip/spin on the base when attached so if you want to go from one side to the other you have to turn the mirror around to the other side which requires adjusting the base so it doesn’t topple over. Overall I’d give this mirror a very solid 4.9/5.0, rounded up to 5 stars.
