This is a great holder for keeping my makeup brushes dust free on my bathroom counter. The door slides open easily and the base rotates very smoothly. My only gripe is that the compartments would be better if the walls were higher. As others have mentioned, my brushes sort of splay out in the smaller compartments. Only the one tallest compartment holds the brushes better. It’s a small annoyance, but not a dealbreaker.

I requested this Makeup Brush Organizer with Lid / Rotatable 360° Makeup Organizer [&] Brush Holder / Dustproof / Cosmetic Storage Box for Vanity, Desktop, Bathroom Countertop (Black) so I could give it as a gift to my teenaged granddaughter. It is made of plastic therefore it does not have the same build quality as those higher priced Makeup Organizers; however, in my opinion, it is still of sufficient build quality to be considered as a good “FIRST” Makeup & Brush Holder type organizer. I also like the fact that it has a 360° rotating capability and the sliding door cover does allow for easy access/storage of makeup and brushes.

I saw a similar organizer on a cream make-up company’s website, but wouldn’t pay what they were selling it for, plus it was sold out. Even though this is all plastic, including the finial, it looks fabulous and works wonderfully.

Not only tidied up my countertop but brushes stay dust free and handy. Looks stylish. Gave a 4 because I think the door needs a little grab bar to help open easily. If you do update model I get a free model please!
