   Great magnifying mirror. I bought it to take on trips. It is going to work perfectly for makeup application. It’s a good size to pack and a good value for the cost.

   I love this mirror but am not sure I will be taking it with me on an upcoming trip that includes several plane rides. I was looking for a lighted magnified mirror for travel and this one is a little large for that.It is very nice and I love that it is chargeable vs using disposable batteries. It’s a great size if you need a hand held mirror of this type. The lighting is excellent and has different settings.I do look like the crypt keeper in the magnified side (LOL) since I am 58. Somehow my fine lines look like craters with the magnification but honestly, that’s what it’s for. To show you all the details you’d rather not see….like chin hairs and fine white hairs that need to go!I saw at least one review mention that you have to be very close to the magnified side of the mirror to see your face. Well, that’s the way all magnified mirrors work. At least all of the ones I’ve ever had.I will probably keep looking for something smaller for my trip but again, this is a nice item just not suitable for my purposes. I may keep it for home use.

   I like the magnification on this mirror. I also like that it has a light and when you hold the button the light gets brighter. It also lights on both sides. This was a happy surprise! Love this mirror!

   This mirror is even better than I had hoped for!It is a high quality product with great functions.It has two lighted sides. And I very much appreciate the 20x magnification! Most only have 10x so I’m grateful for the extra magnification.I thought I would only be using it for a travel mirror, but it is so great that I am using it everyday at my vanity as well!Great price, great product.I highly recommend this mirror!

   This unit is acceptable in function and quality for the price in 2023. It has a smooth finish with no sharp edges around the frame and stand/handle. The 1x mirror is typical. The 3x mirror has significant distortion away from the center, but that is also rather typical for similar styles. It would be better if the distortion didn’t occur until much closer to the outer edge of the mirror, since the usable portion of the 3x mirror is only about 70% of the center.The unit comes with instructions which are simple, accurate and easy to follow regarding charging and changing the several light modes. Light output in the several modes (white light and several warmer tints) isn’t great but does help. The touch sensor at the bottom of the 1x mirror side is used for changing lighting modes, and is sensitive, easy to accidentally trigger when handling the mirror.Charge time is adequate, and instructions advise users to use the charging cable supplied with the unit, although it appears to be a typical “C” type and other cables do the same job.The charging port does not have a plug, and instructions warn that the unit is not resistant to steamy environments and should not be used in areas with showers (such as bathrooms with showers and bathtubs). That’s actually ridiculous, since most people will use these in bathrooms, but the point is that, if bathrooms do indeed become steamy, or if water is accidentally splashed while using a sink, it could damage the unit. The instructions also warn users that the mirror is not shatter-resistant. These facts, in addition to the unit not being especially lightweight, do not make it a good candidate for travel, especially if packed in luggage that might be loaded on a plane, bus, train, etc.The stand/handle rotation is difficult. This is acceptable and perhaps even desirable when using the component as a stand, thus preventing the mirror from collapsing, and when hanging it, the tension/friction retains the mirror in any rotated position. But when using the mirror as a handheld unit, which frequently requires changing the angle between the handle and mirror, it is difficult to rotate the mirror relative to the handle. A suggested improvement would be to re-engineer the connection between the handle/stand and mirror by adding a spring-loaded clutch or adjustable clamp that would allow users to release or minimize the friction between the two components, thus permitting more usability.

   For the most part, this is a wonderful product. The magnification is good. The lighting is good. Love that it is rechargeable. The only complaint I have is where the power switch is. It’s easy to hit and change your color lighting or turn it on and off other than that it’s really nice. I’m glad I bought it. It is very helpful when traveling. I found a case on Amazon that it fit in nicely, so I can just toss in luggage and not worry about it getting broken or accidentally turned on while traveling.
