Nice, heavy, smooth, and crystal clear acrylic. Entire unit is 7 1/14 inches (in) long. The front and back are curved so the middle of the unit is wider than the ends—looks good. Each of the three compartments has internal dimensions of approximately 2 1/16 in long, 2 1/4 in wide, and 2 7/8 in deep. The middle of the middle compartment is 2 15/16 wide. I bought this to hold pens and pencils but for me, this is too big for the few pens and pencils I know use. My wife is using it to hold big sewing pins and likes it.

Nice & thick acrylic! Love all Bino organizers. I have several because of such great quality & so many varying designs. I think that this container is great! It is a lot less expensive than others I looked at buying and is just as great quality! I know other reviewers said that theirs had arrived chipped, however, I did not have that problem. Overall, great buy and I’m so happy to take this to college with me and continue using it as a desk organizer rather than a makeup one!

This is one fantastic organizer. I bought several acrylic organizers in an attempt to control my make up catastrophe – I just wanted to create some sort of “controlled chaos”. I have to say, out of the several different organizers I purchased on Amazon, this one is among my favorite. It is made from the really thick acrylic, not the think stuff that feels like it will break if dropped. This is substantial. It’s also sturdy enough to hold heavier items without tipping over. It’s a great size – I can get several large make up brushes in the end compartments, and I still have tons and tons of room to add more of my smaller brushes to the middle compartment. (At present I have 11 small, small/medium brushes in the center – and I could easily fit another 30-40 in there, depending on size.) Just for your own information, I have 4 pretty large brushes on one end and 6 medium brushes on the other end. I don’t like filling the compartments up so the brushes are smooshed – so these are the numbers of brushes I could fit and still allow the brushes to “breathe”, could grasp each individually for easy removal, and put them back easily, without having to rearrange everything.The only thing I don’t like? The adhesive used on the sticker is ridiculously tough, making it impossible to remove their label unless you use some sort of sticky stuff remover. I don’t want their advertising on the container, but I was able to remove it with some soaking and remover. I’m not losing sleep over it – and it wasn’t bothersome enough to take a star – I just wanted to let you know in case stuff like that is one of your “pet peeves”.Bottom Line: I really like this organizer and would buy it again. It’s a good size and holds quite a bit. It was effective in helping me create more “controlled chaos” in my bathroom. Nice little organizer!

I ordered two of these–one for my makeup drawer and one for my skin care drawer. The makeup drawer one fit perfectly between two other bins; however, because of the tapered shape, it did not fit well in my cosmetics drawer because it is free-standing. I am going to return one. If the sides were not tapered, it would be perfect for both locations.

But that’s my fault for not going off the measurements. Still holds all my makeup brushes, but I wouldn’t be able to get anymore in the future. Great quality though!If you owe a bunch of real technique brushes I wouldnt get this organizer, because the base of those brushes is really fat and you won’t be able to hold many with this organizer.
